The 2025 Federal & State-Level Status of The CROWN Act

On June 25, amika held an empowering night of culture and connection celebrating The CROWN Act (Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair). The CROWN Act is a law that prohibits discrimination based on natural hair textures and protective hairstyles commonly associated with race, such as braids, locs, twists and Afros.
