City Of Hope Recognizes Dr. Farouk Shami As “Spirit of Life” Honoree In July 2023, Dr. Farouk Shami—chairman and founder of Farouk Systems—will be honored with the “Spirit of Life” award at the City of Hope annual fundraising gala for his dedication to the hairdressing community. Presented by the National Beauty Industry, this prestigious award celebrates Farouk’s many professional and humanitarian accomplishments.   The annual gala raises funds for the City of Hope cancer center.
