When Reese Witherspoon shows up to a red carpet with an elegant, sideswept style, it's almost always going to be a fan (and client!) favorite. Here's how to recreate one of her classic Hollywood looks from Farouk System Inc. Artist Anna Cantu.

STEPS
Before
Wash hair with CHI Magnified Volume Shampoo and Conditioner then apply a dab of CHI Silk Infusion from midshaft to ends.
Apply CHI Magnified Volume Spray Foam at roots and massage in.
Using your CHI Touch 2 Blow Dryer, choose setting best for your client’s hair type and rough-dry starting at the roots to remove excess moisture.
Finish drying with CHI Paddle Brush, overdirecting hair for maximum volume in the direction for planned style.
Section side part from outside eyebrow point to back apex.
Divide into 3 sections – section 1 ear to ear and clip front 2 sections forward.
Choose a 1-inch section at the apex and spray CHI Magnified Finishing Spray from roots to ends.
Curl the back section starting at the top of the crown curling hair and overdirecting forward on base using a 1-inch CHI Orbit Styling Wand.
Twist hair around 1-inch CHI Orbit Styling Wand and hold for 20 seconds then set with a clip.
Continue down the back section using a brick lay pattern.
Move to large front sections. Create 1-inch section parallel to the part and spray with CHI Magnified Volume Finishing Spray.
Curl section on base in the direction that your client’s hair will fall and then clip in place.
Continue down until the section is complete.
Repeat on other side.
Spray with CHI Magnified Volume XF Finishing Spray for a strong hold.
Remove clips and begin brushing and stretching the curls beginning at the nape using a CHI Backcomb Brush.
Continue up and around the head.
Perfect and set the front wave by securing clips to create a proper wave.
Spray all over with CHI Magnified Volume XF Finishing Spray and smooth hair back on smaller section side and tuck behind the ear.
Leave clips in for 3-5 minutes.
Remove and spray with CHI Magnified Volume XF Finishing Spray.
