Farouk Shami Returns to Farouk Systems as CEO

Farouk Shami announced today his return as Chairman and CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc. after a short retirement.   According to an official statement from Farouk Systems, the founder of the company realized his passion for the beauty industry, to which he has devoted 50 years of his life, and his fellow hairdressers were “more important to him than anything else.” With this change, he says, Farouk will return to what he loves best—working hard to create a safer and healthier workplace for both stylists and consumers.   Farouk has been a longtime activist in the industry, bringing forth changes and (more…)
