Aveda Appoints New Senior Vice President

Global Brand President Dominique Conseil (pictured below) has announced his plans to retire. In the wake of his retirement, Barbara De Laere (pictured above) has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Global General Manager. Joining Aveda in 2000 as the first executive to assume the role of Global Brand President, Dominique has led the brand to achieve significant global growth with his longstanding commitment to socio-environmental responsibility.   Under Dominique, Aveda has become an industry leader in the development of environmentally responsible packaging, and was the first beauty company to achieve carbon balance in its in-house manufacturing, headquarters and retail operations.
