STEPS
Secure a horseshoe shaped section. Part from temple to temple and just below the crown area.
Start the haircut at the center nape and cut at a 45 degree angle. Working with a freehand technique cut on the inside of the hand to achieve a slightly dishevelled texture.
Work around the head shape continuing through to the front hairline.
The side section is refined using a slicing technique.
The same sectioning and cutting procedure is repeated on the other side of the head.
Completed sides.
Work through the top section, connecting in at the crown area and working around the head shape. Elevate each section at 90 degrees, working from short to long. Continue the cutting on the inside of the hand to achieve a dishevelled texture.
Continue cutting on the inside of the hand.
Continue cutting on the inside of the hand.
Pivot off this section working up and around the head shape until the entire top area is complete.
The top section is now refined using the point of the scissors.
Finally, refine the entire haircut using a slicing technique to soften the edges.
