This cool icy color melt from the Matrix team is serving up some major winter haircolor goals. With a simple four-section color melting process and the Color Sync line, you’ll have everything you need to create this iridescent hue behind the chair. Here’s how.

Section the hair into quadrants, then using 1/8-inch subsections, apply Formula A ½ inch away from the scalp and pulling through to the midlengths and ends. Process until 2/3 of desired lightness is achieved, then apply the formula to the scalp area. Let hair process for 50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, shampoo and lightly mist with Total Results Pro-Solutionist Instacure on the midlengths and ends.
Resection the hair into quadrants. Then, working on a diagonal, create a zig-zag subsection and place on foil. Apply Formula B to the scalp area and diffuse down.
Continuing to work with that section, apply and melt down Formulas C, D and E (in that order). Remember to always blend well at the point where the two colors meet for a seamless transition, and continue this process throughout the entire head.
