Who can enter ONESHOT?

Any licensed hairstylist, cosmetologist or barber — and currently-enrolled cosmetology students for the Student category.

Is there a fee to enter?

No. Entry is free.

How many entries can I submit per category?

Up to three entries per category. Each image may only be used in one Color + one Cut + one Styling category.

Do I need to post to Instagram?

Yes. Each entry must be posted on Instagram with the category hashtag between Jan 13 and Mar 31. You paste the IG post URL on this site as part of the entry.

Can I edit my entries after submitting?

Yes — until the submission window closes on March 31. After that, entries are locked for judging.

Are AI-generated or heavily retouched images allowed?

No. Basic editing (exposure, blemish removal, non-AI skin retouch) is fine. Anything that alters the hair, or any AI tool, results in disqualification.

When are winners announced?

Finalists are announced October 1, 2026. Winners are revealed live at The BTC Show, Ft. Lauderdale, on Nov 12, 2026.
