WATCH: How To Create It-Girl Waves

There are SO many options when it comes to creating cool curls on your clients—beach waves, lived-in waves, glam waves…and then there are the waves created by BTC team member Eric Vaughn (@realericvaughn). They’re equal parts pretty and cool, plus he got hundreds of thousands of views (like 282,759 to be exact) when he posted this quickie waving tutorial on Instagram. Get The Look

1. Prep with CHI Infra Texture Hair Spray to build a flexible, workable hold.
2. Then, working in 2-inch sections, curl the hair using the CHI Lava Hairstyling Iron.
3. Move section by section curling the entire head. For the soft, glamorous outcome, Eric curled the hair away from the face to create a more uniform end result. 
4. Once complete and curls have cooled, use the CHI Texturizing Spray for added volume and brush through to break up the waves.
5. Finish the look with the CHI Shine Infusion.
