It’s official: Clean-girl minimalism is out and big, bold beauty trends are in. Don’t just take it from us—Kacey Musgraves is one of the many A-listers on board with the high-glamour aesthetic. The Grammy-winning artist was seen sitting front row at the Schiaparelli Spring 2024 runway show at Paris Couture Fashion Week wearing a glamorous bouffant hairdo and thick black headband for extra drama.

The retro bouffant was created by Giovanni Delgado (@giovannidelgado), who shared the following on their inspiration: “The ‘clean-girl aesthetic’ has its place and time, but I live for the drama,” shared Giovanni. “So for Kacey’s look for Schiaparelli, I opted to lean into the more-is-more energy. I believe that high glamour is always in. I expect and hope more people will lean into the more-is-more aesthetic this year. I think we all would benefit from a little fun and a little fantasy.”
“We wanted drama and glamour so I was inspired by old photos of Ursula Andress while keeping in mind Schiaparelli’s current collection,” added Giovanni.
