Sabrina Carpenter hit the Coachella 2026 stage with a “Sabrinawood” Desert Blowout that played into the theatrical glamour of her headlining set. Created by celebrity hairstylist and Showpony NYC Creative Director Evanie Frausto (@evaniefrausto) using Redken, the look combined structured volume, polished bounce and soft, brushed-out texture with a clear nod to classic Hollywood glamour, retro cinematic aesthetics and nostalgic pop culture. The performance itself pulled visual references from films like Chicago and Dirty Dancing, with a Rocky Horror Picture Show-inspired cameo from Susan Sarandon, reinforcing the overall “Sabrinawood” direction.
Designed to hold under stage lights and constant movement, the style felt both refined and performance-ready. Evanie also updated Sabrina’s signature fringe with a soft center part and longer length for a lighter, more fluid face frame. Below, we share his step-by-step process behind the look.
