4 Steps To Effortless, Lived-In Waves

School is almost out for summer which can only mean one thing: It’s beach wave season at the salon! Time to master those perfectly-imperfect, done-but-also-undone, Instagram-approved beach waves. We know this is what your clients want—that’s why we grabbed this quickie guide from BTC Team Member Maggie Hancock @maggiemh explaining the process! How-To:

Blow-dry using the amika Accomplice Blow-Dryer, then use the amika Plus Size Body Mousse with the amika Haute Mess Texture Gloss for added texture.
Then, use the amika Antidote Flat Iron in alternating, long-rotating motions to create the waves.
Once the waves are created, do not brush through. Instead, pull curls apart using your fingers and the Haute Mess Texture Gloss.
Then, spray the entire head heavily with the amika Un.done Volume and Matte Texture Spray.
