So we asked Mickey Colón (@mickeycolonjr) how exactly he took his client (@delgashley) from a natural Level 6 to this stunning silver metallic. Here’s everything you need to know!
STEPS
Beginning 2 inches from the roots, apply Formula A to small panels using Colortrak Balayage Haircoloring Film, starting in the nape. Process for 35 minutes.
After 35 minutes, apply Formula A to the roots, for a total processing time of 50 minutes.
Rinse and shampoo using R+Co SUNSET BLVD, then apply Formula B to the roots and Formula C ​to the rest of the hair. Process for 5 to 10 minutes.
Note: Don’t be alarmed if the hair starts turning blue—this will enhance the silver look!
Rinse, then rough-dry the hair and apply Formula D all over (this is what will really make the silver pop). Process for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Apply Olaplex No.2, and process for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and then apply conditioner only.
Style with R+Co Tinsel Soothing Oil and R+Co High Dive Moisture Shine Crème, then finish with R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray.
