Farouk Four Easy Steps to Perfect Ionic Color

STEPS

   Step 1 – Determine the Natural Level You are starting from, using the swatches.
   
   • Determine the percentage of grey
   • Consider the effects of texture and porosity.

   Step 2 – Determine the level you wish to achieve.
   
   • Same Level?
   • Lighter or Darker?
   • Covering or blending grey?

   Step 3 – Determine the tone desired.
   
   • Cool, Neutral or Warm.
   • The final color result will be a combination of the color dyes and natural underlying pigmentation of the hair.

   Step 4 – Determine the volume of development needed.
   
   • CHI Color Generators are formulated to give up to 1 level of lift for every 10 volume of developer used.

   Rinsing
   
   • Add a little warm water and gently massage color mixture through the hair to emulsify.
   • Rinse thoroughly with warm water for at least 5 minutes.
   • Shampoo with CHI Infra Shampoo
   • Gently towel dry the hair.
   • Apply CHI Ionic Color Lock for 5 minutes and rinse.
   • Apply a few drops of CHI Silk Infusion and leave in.
