Before
Divide hair into three sections—one on both sides of the head and one in the back.
Divide the back section into two horizontal parts. Starting at the nape of the neck, slice a quarter of an inch section and apply Formula A. Leave ends out of the foil if they are already light.
Continue up to the occipital bone with just Formula A.
From the occipital bone to the crown, rotate between A and B in a bricklaying pattern, alternating between weaving and slicing techniques.
For the front sections, work your way up from the temple to the part in a bricklaying pattern on each side, keep rotating between Formulas A and B. For sections around the hairline, only use Formula B, because everyone likes to be lighter around the face.
Once Formulas A and B are completed, go back to the hair that’s been left out of the foils and choose places to add extra pops of shimmer with Formula C.
Process for 45 minutes. Rinse then shampoo with Joico K-Pak Color Therapy.
For extra shine and conditioning, finish with Formula D.
