Start by spraying a detangling mist throughout the hair to help comb out any tangles. Then, apply a volumizing mousse to give the hair volume and texture.
Create a center part, then blow-dry with a diffuser to set the hair. Then, create a fishtail braid on both sides of the head. As you work, apply a defining gel to control and maintain smoothness of the two side braids.
Continue braiding all the way down, then tie the ends together with a clear elastic. Then, weave black string to and from each braid like a corset.
Finish the style by applying hairspray to keep the braids in place.
