The Christopher John Rogers "Collection 010" runway show featured a spiky corkscrew topknot, crafted by Naeemah LaFond (@naeemahlafond), amika’s Global Artistic Director. This ‘90s Brooklyn-inspired look was designed based on styles found in local Black hair salons and Black magazines.

STEPS
First, cut 1.5-inch pieces of wefted hair. Spray generously with the amika Headstrong Intense Hold Hairspray. Straighten with amika Conductor Styler and clip the ends to make them pointed.
Next, smooth hair into a high pony with amika Curl Corps Enhancing Gel using a grooming brush and secure with hair tie.
Wrap the base with a small section of hair.
Pin two spikes onto the base of the ponytail with bobby pins.
Then, separate the ponytail into two pieces and saturate with Curl Corps Enhancing Gel.
Twist each piece into the base of the pony in a twirling motion and secure with pins.
Finish by spraying with amika Top Gloss Shine Spray for high shine.
