Mireya Villarreal (@mireya_villarreal_), hairstylist, educator and founder of Pink Pewter, is bringing together educators, executives and entrepreneurs from across the beauty industry for a new one-day event focused on business strategy, leadership and career development. From Chair to Boss™, Live! will take place Sept. 28, 2026, in Oak Brook, Illinois.
This year's Rise Together event covers topics including:
- Entrepreneurship
- Financial success
- Career longevity
- Retail growth
- Salon ownership
- Personal branding
The event will also explore career opportunities across the salon, suite, education, retail, corporate and brand sectors. Attendees can earn six Illinois continuing education (CE) hours with attendance, and registration includes lunch, networking opportunities and giveaways throughout the day.

Along with a full day of education, the event will conclude with the inaugural Dreams to Dollars $70K Challenge, presented in partnership with Beauty Cast Network. During the live competition, future beauty professionals will present their plans for reaching $70,000 or more in annual service revenue.
