STEPS

Before

Create a section from the recession area to the back of the ear on both sides, and leave out the fringe. Use a zigzag parting for softness throughout the cut, and clip the hair out of way.

In the center-back, take vertical sections and elevate the hair to 145 degrees. Use an open-shear, slicing technique to create movement.

Then, elevate the fringe and cut slices horizontally for a deeper point-cut.

Take a horizontal section from crown to recession, and cut horizontally toward the face. Cut with an open-shear, slide-cutting technique to create channels and movement.

Then, slide-cut from the crown to nape using vertical sections.

Blow-dry the hair. Then, go back in and detail with vertical slide-cutting to create channels, movement and to remove weight. Apply TIGI Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo and style.
