How to Straighten Virgin Resistant Hair From Bio Ionic® KeraSmooth™

STEPS

   Clarify hair:

   • Shampoo hair twice with iClarify™ Shampoo or a deep-cleaning shampoo to remove product build-up.
   • Do not apply conditioner.
   • Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear and towel dry.

   Sectioning:

   • Detangle hair with a wide-tooth comb and section the hair.

   KeraSmooth™ Application:

   • Shake KeraSmooth™ pouches well before each use.
   • While wearing gloves, squeeze KeraSmooth™ formula for Virgin/Resistant hair into a bowl. The amount used varies on hair length and texture.
     c. To begin, apply KeraSmooth in sections 1/2” away from the roots to mid shaft using a BI applicator brush. Do not apply directly to the scalp. Finally, apply KeraSmooth to the ends, combing through each section once.
   • Perform a strand test immediately after you finish with your application. The processing time starts when you start your application. Try to keep the application time under 10 minutes.
   • Leave KeraSmooth™ on the hair for 5 to 10 minutes to defrizz, or leave on for 30 minutes to straighten, depending on hair type and texture. Note: Do not process wiht heat.
   • To check the desired level of straightening, do an elasticity test every 3 to 5 minutes at the place of initial application.
   • Do not leave KeraSmooth on hair longer than 30 minutes.
