The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate, talented, and customer-focused Hairstylist to join our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to build your own book while being supported by a collaborative environment and a steady stream of clients from one of Cambridge’s most vibrant locations. We value stylists who are artists, consultants, and trusted advisors to their clients
What You’ll Do:
- Perform a wide range of hair services including precision haircuts, custom coloring (balayage, highlights, corrective color), styling, and treatments
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs, preferences, and lifestyle
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and retention
- Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and industry education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with state regulations
- Contribute positively to our salon culture and team environment
- Utilize and recommend our line of premium hair care products (e.g., Loreal and others)
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Massachusetts Cosmetology License
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in a salon environment (Ok, if you are a fresh graduate- we will consider “All levels for the right fit”)
- Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling
- optional but preferred: proven portfolio showcasing your work (physical or digital)
- Excellent communication, consultation, and client service skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ambition to grow your clientele and hone your craft
