Lisa Dinh (@lisathidinh) Moroccanoil® Global Color Ambassador The acclaimed colorist Lisa Dinh fell in love with hairstyling when she was just nine years old. “I got red and blonde highlights, like Christina Aguilera, and I felt so glamorous! That started my fascination with hair and the beauty industry.” Now she shares that love with her clients at Lisa Dinh Hair Studio in Toronto, where she specializes in a technique called Foilyage, re-creating balayage highlights in foils, and creating face-framing, lived-in dimensional balayage looks with contrast and lightness. After graduating from the Aveda Institute of Toronto, she continued to expand her skillset and artistry with classes at Tracey Cunningham in Beverly Hills and Toronto, EdwardsAndCo Education, and more. She was also mentored by the color artist and influencer Guy Tang. “I started doing Balayage and Foilyage because I followed him on Instagram and admired his work,” she recalls. “Then one day he followed me back and invited me to my first Behindthechair event in 2014.” Since then, he has had a major impact on her career, giving her exposure on Instagram—and the confidence to launch her own business. Lisa has used Moroccanoil products on her clients since the beginning of her career. “It has always been a high-quality brand,” she says. “That’s why I’m excited to start this partnership with Moroccanoil.”
