Section the hair into three triangles on the top of the head and clip away.

Isolate a small, curved section behind the ear and apply Formula A.

Continue working in this area and isolate these sections with foils.

Then, taking diagonal-forward slices in the first triangle at the top of the head, apply Formula A from roots through to the ends and isolate in foils.

While the lightener processes, apply Formula B from roots to ends on all hair that was not prelightened.

On the prelightened sections, apply Formula C from the roots to the midshaft. Then, blend Formula D at the midshaft and melt the color down through to the ends.

Continue this technique on the prelightened hair. Process, then rinse, shampoo and condition the hair. Blow-dry to prep for styling.

Apply a rich amount of CHI Silk Infusion through the hair for shine and protection.

Then, use the Dura CHI 1-Inch Ceramic Curling Iron from the roots to the midshaft. Start in the nape area, working with horizontal sections.
