- 2Step 2 of 10

Create a diamond on top of the head, leaving a 2-inch section out around the front hairline. Then, behind the diamond section, create a small Mohawk section in the crown.
- 3Step 3 of 10

- 4Step 4 of 10

Then, starting in the back Mohawk section, take ¼-inch subsections, weave and apply Formula A.
- 5Step 5 of 10

Once that section is complete, move to the 2-inch section in the front hairline. Take 1/8-inch subsections, weave and apply Formula A all throughout the front hairline.
Pro Tip: If less blonde is desired, take ¼-inch subsections instead.
- 6Step 6 of 10

Move to the diamond section and part it down the middle for control, then take ¼-inch horizontal diagonal sections, weave and apply Formula B.
Pro Tip: Staggering developers allows for even lightening as you work throughout the head.
- 7Step 7 of 10

Once all foils are placed, apply Formula C as a lowlight between every other foil.
- 8Step 8 of 10

Process for 25 minutes, then wash with Paul Mitchell Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo and follow with conditioner.
