Section the head into 8 sections. - 2Step 2 of 12
Start in the middle of the nape by directing the hair horizontally and using a mobile design line. - 3Step 3 of 12
The last sections behind the ear on both sides are distributed towards the previous design line to create a soft increasing length. - 4Step 4 of 12
The sides are directed toward the highest point of the ear and vertically cut with a stationary design line. - 5Step 5 of 12
The crown area is cut with the razor arching technique, using a mobile design line. - 6Step 6 of 12
The fringe is overdirected towards the sides by using a pinching technique with the razor. - 7Step 7 of 12
The interior layers are notched vertically to create volume and softness. - 8Step 8 of 12
Color Formulas
Formula A: 1:1 Equal Parts: CHI Blondest Blonde + CHI Ionic Color Generator 10 or 20-volume, depending on the level of the hair*
Formula B: CHI Chromashine Vibrant Violet
Take diagonal backward partings and position the foil under the sliced section. Applying Formula A, start at the roots with the brush angled vertically and move towards the ends horizontally. - 9Step 9 of 12
Continue to work in the interior area by taking diagonal backwards slices. Process hair until you achieve the desired lift. - 10Step 10 of 12
Rinse and shampoo with CHI Infra Shampoo and seal with CHI Ionic Color Lock for 5 minutes. Dry the hair. Apply Formula B in the diagonal forward section. This achieves a perfect blend of tones. Process with low heat for 10 minutes and cool down for 5 minutes. Repeat Step 3. - 11Step 11 of 12
