    Create a part from the front hairline, just above the parietal ridge, to a point at the top of the ear. Continue the part diagonally toward the back, down to the occipital bone. Cut the hair to 1/2-inch using a scissor-over-comb technique. At the back of the head, connect the diagonal parting to a horizontal parting, just above the occipital bone. Cut hair to 1/2-inch using a scissor-over-comb technique. Repeat on the opposite side of the head.

    Drop the hair from the top of the head and comb to its natural fall. Starting at the highest points of the head, pull the hair straight up and point-cut to your guide. Working your way forward, overdirect all sections back to the guide.

    Using a comb to control the angle, point-cut the perimeter of the hair; work from the back of the head toward the front corner of the mouth. Repeat on the opposite side of the head.

    Prepare the hair for blow drying by misting with L'ANZA Healing ColorCare Magic Bullet to close the cuticle and protect haircolor. Next, apply a small amount of L'ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Hair Treatment to damp hair to add smoothness, shine and heat protection. Mist hair with L'ANZA Spray Gel for added control. Blow-dry with a Denman-style brush, moving hair back and forth. To complete this look, take a small amoung of L'ANZA Shape Putty and emulsify in the palms of your hands. Work through dry hair to enhance texture.
