Drawing inspiration from the A-list celebrity shade shifters, celebrity colorist Marie Ferro was ready to take on her client Chloe’s request for lighter locks (P.S., Chloe is famous songstress Olivia Newton-John’s daughter!). Marie transformed her from a chocolate brown into a rich buttery blonde. Best of all, this major color shift was featured in New Beauty magazine! “The blonde brought a brightness to Chloe’s face that added softness and glamour to the shoot,” notes Marie. 4. 4Step 4 of 7

Using a 1 ¼ -inch curling iron, follow the natural movement in the hair placing in vertical shaped curls. Spray each curl with Goldwell Magic Finish Hairspray Gloss, leaving off the last 2 inches on the ends of the hair to create a natural, but polished look.

"Many times brides don’t know exactly what they are going to feel comfortable with in the way of a style," notes Marie. "Once the set is placed on the hair, it can be shaped into a style they can see in the mirror as you are moving the hair in shapes. Then you get an immediate agreement on what they feel comfortable with style-wise before you commit to placing the shape in."
