Prepare the hair with Surface Jump Volume Mousse at the root and Surface Bliss Smoothing Cream from scalp to ends. Create a left side part on a diagonal from center of the eye to middle of the high point. Blow-dry smooth, and add Surface Push Styling Powder to the root area. - 2Step 2 of 10
Create front sections by parting from the high point to just behind the ear on both sides of the head, clip out of the way. - 3Step 3 of 10
Beginning in the nape area create 3 pony tails as follows: first section will be from lower left ear to top of right ear on a diagonal. Secure with elastic in the center of the section. The second will be from the top of the left ear to the back corner of right side ridge. Secure with elastic in the center of the section directly above the last pony. The third section is the remaining hair in the back section. Secure with elastic directly above last two ponies. - 4Step 4 of 10
To create the roll, add Surface Push Styling Powder to the ponytail. Backcomb under the side of the pony. Spray with Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray. Smooth the pony with Surface Shift Shine Wax then smooth top of the pony being careful not to remove backcombing. Spray again with Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray. - 5Step 5 of 10
Begin to roll the pony until you reach the elastic. Place the roll diagonally and secure with pin on each side. - 6Step 6 of 10
Spray with Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray and spread the roll out and secure with bobby pins on each side. - 7Step 7 of 10
Create second and third rolls in the same manner as the first roll. Place directly above the first. - 8Step 8 of 10
To complete, backcomb the right front section and smooth with Surface Shift Shine Wax and then Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray. Begin to roll the hair under. When roll is complete lay the roll on its side directly on the part line. Spray with Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray and secure with bobby pins. - 9Step 9 of 10
Repeat on the left side and place the roll directly on top of the previous roll. Finish with Surface Theory Firm Styling Spray and Surface Bassu Shine Spray. - 10Step 10 of 10
