Always start with a consultation—even for a blowout. This will help build rapport with your client and also make sure you correctly identify what products to use, especially if their hair is thinning or compromised. For this blowout, the client has fine, color-treated hair. - 2Step 2 of 7
Shampoo, condition and treat with the NIOXIN System Kit of choice. - 3Step 3 of 7
Gently detangle hair with a wide-tooth comb. Start at the bottom and work up to the roots. - 4Step 4 of 7
Apply 8-10 pumps of Diamax Advanced on towel-dried hair at the roots. Spray a few more pumps onto your hands and run them through the lengths of the hair. Apply Therm Active, a heat activated thermal protector, and comb through to distribute evenly. - 5Step 5 of 7
With the blow dryer set on medium heat, round brush the hair, encouraging fullness. Overdirect each section, then clip the hair on base and allow the hair to cool completely. - 6Step 6 of 7
