Following the curve of the head, divide panel A into diagonal sections. Work the hair using a horizontal graduation technique; keep low elevation to hold the weight down to the perimeter.

Work panel B by taking horizontal sections and comb the hair forward. Cut a round fringe and join it with the perimeter of section A.

Part panel C into sections starting from the parting line. Combing the hair upwards, cut rounded layers without overdirecting. Leave the perimeter slightly longer than panel B. Then refine the angle which forms between panel B and C.

Using the length of panel C as a guideline, divide panel D into sections. Comb the hair perpendicular to how the head rounds, leaving enough length to connect to the perimeter of panel A.

Refine the profile in a pointing technique, but exclude the perimeter. Cut layers in panels C and D to add internal movement. And there you have it!
