Paint Formula A in wide sections, and process until hair reaches a Level 10.

Shampoo with Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo, then towel-dry the hair and apply Formula B. Process for 15 minutes, shampoo again and towel-dry.

Section the hair into four parts, vertically. Apply Formulas C and D to wet hair, picking up random sections all over the head to create a softer look. Make sure to apply Formula C to the lightest blonde ends so it doesn’t turn green and Formula D to the darker blonde so that as it fades, it leaves a pearly tone. “I heavily diluted [the colors] to make them more pastel and less permanent since the Kenra Neons stay pretty well and she wasn’t sure she could have them at work,” says Frances. “I also do that for clients who are getting rainbow tones for the first time and are nervous about changing up their blonde.”

Frances applied Kenra Platinum Blow-Dry Spray, then blow-dried using herErgo Ionic Ceramic Round Brush. She then flat-ironed the hair using her ghdClassic 1-inch Styler.
