Prep damp hair with Aveda Volumizing Tonic™.

Rough-dry the hair, finishing the crown with an Aveda Paddle Brush to smooth the hair to natural fall.

Style by taking a 1-inch, pie-shaped section and spraying lightly with Aveda Witch Hazel Light Hold Hair Spray.

Beginning three inches from the crown, twist the section lightly around your finger. Wrap the twisted section around the inside of a large metal duck bill clip, and close to lock the hair in place.

Repeat in six to eight sections.

Using a flat iron with medium heat, press the hair on the clips for 10 seconds or until the hair is heated through.

Continue until all sections are set, pressed and cooled.

Remove four clips at a time, and separate the curls with the tail of a tail comb. Lightly backcomb to build volume, and sculpt into the desired shape.
