Starting in the midlengths, then pulling through to the ends, apply Formula A throughout the whole head, taking medium sections and slicing horizontally using back-to-back foils. Process until hair reaches a Level 9/10.

Apply Formula B to the roots, melting the color down into the midlengths. Apply Formula C from the midlengths to the ends. Process for 35 minutes.

Apply Formula D to the ends at the sink. “This was to pack even more pigment into her hair,” says Yen. Process for 10 to 15 minutes at the sink.
