Before

Starting on the heavier side and working toward the fringe area and side parting, take a diagonal zigzag parting of hair that will overhang.

Picking up the points of the zigzag, apply Formula A approximately 2 ½ inches from the scalp area and feather out through the midshafts and ends.

Take a second back-to-back slice parting and apply Formula A in the same manner as before.

Pivoting and leaving a slight hairline of perimeter color, take an additional three diagonal back-to-back slice partings for a total of five foils.

Pivoting and leaving a slight stepping-back from the hairline, take a triangular section and clip it away. Working just above the ear, take a horizontal/diagonal slice parting and apply Formula A in the same manner as before (feathering approximately 2 ½ inches from the scalp area to the midshafts and ends) for a total of four back-to-back slice partings.

Proceed to the opposite side. Take a zigzag overhang and clip it away. Picking up the points of the zigzag, take a diagonal/horizontal slice parting and apply Formula A in the same manner.

Continue for a total of four back-to-back slice partings.

Take a triangle section of hair, stepping back to above the ear area. Take diagonal slice partings with Formula A (feathering approximately 2 ½ inches from the scalp area to the midshafts and ends) for a total of four foils.

Proceed to the back section. Take a section of hair just below the crown and clip it away. Take a horizontal slice parting and apply Formula A for a total of four foils.

Completed foiling procedure. Lift to a Level 9 yellow, rinse, shampoo with K-PAK Shampoo and rinse again. Apply K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor for 5 minutes, rinse and dry the hair.

Start on the heavier side of the hair. Working toward the fringe area from a side parting, take a diagonal/horizontal weave parting (picking up the points of the zigzag overhang) and apply Formula B.

Take a second slice parting with Formula B. Take a slice parting with Formula C. Then take a weave parting with Formula C and a weave parting with Formula D.

Take a weave parting with Formula C and then a slice parting with Formula E.

Resection out the triangle section. Working above the ear, take:

• A weave parting with Formula B
• A weave parting with Formula C
• A weave parting with Formula D
• A weave parting with Formula C
• A slice parting with Formula E

Proceed to the opposite side. Section out the zigzag overhang then take:

• A diagonal/horizontal weave parting with Formula B
• A slice parting with Formula B
• A weave parting with Formula C
• Another weave parting with Formula C
• A weave parting with Formula D
• A slice parting with Formula E

Repeat step 14 on the same side you're working on for Step 15.

Proceed to the back section. Resection out the darker overhang, then take:

• A horizontal weave parting with Formula B
• A back-to-back weave parting with Formula B
• A weave parting with Formula C
• A weave parting with Formula D
• A slice parting with Formula E

Completed foiling procedure. Apply Formula F to all remaining hair and process for 20 minutes. Shampoo with K-PAK Shampoo, rinse, then apply K-PAK Cuticle Sealer, leave in for 5 minutes, and rinse again. Apply Joico K-PAK Intense Hydrator, leave in for 5 minutes, and rinse. Dry and style hair using Joico styling products.

Finished Look
