Raspberry Plum Color Formula

COLOR FORMULAS
Formula A (prelighten): Equal parts Joico VeroLight + 10-volume (3%) Veroxide
Formula B (pink foil): 1 Tube Joico Vero K-PAK Color Intensity Magenta
Formula C (blue foil): 1 Tube Joico Vero K-PAK Color Intensity Orchid
Formula D (purple foil): 1 Tube Joico Vero K-PAK Color Intensity Light Purple
Formula E (silver foil): 1 Tube Joico Vero K-PAK Color Intensity Titanium

Before: Model is a natural Level 5 (medium brown) hair.

Starting at a side parting, take a horizontal slice parting and apply Formula A 1/8-inch from the scalp area through the midshaft and ends.

Continue to take back-to-back horizontal slice partings using Formula A (leaving no hair between the foils) for approximately five slice partings. Leave out a small parting of natural hair at the hairline, then take a vertical slice parting and apply Formula A.

Take approximately five vertical slice partings (working from the front toward the nape area behind the ear) and apply Formula A. Step down the foil toward the hairline for a total of six foils.

Proceed to the opposite side and repeat Steps 1 to 3.

Lift the hair to a Level 9 (yellow), then rinse. Shampoo with Joico K-PAK Shampoo, the rinse. Apply Joico K-PAK Cuticle Sealer for 5 minutes, then rinse. Apply Joico K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor for 5 minutes, then rinse and dry the hair.

Starting at the side parting, take a horizontal slice parting and apply Formula B 1 1/8-inch from the scalp area through the midshaft and ends.

Take a back-to-back horizontal slice parting using Formula B, a back-to-back horizontal parting with Formula C, the two back-to-back horizontal slice partings with Formula D.

Proceed to the side area. Working vertically, take a slice parting at the front area and apply Formula B. Take a second slice parting using Formula E, a third slice parting with Formula C, a fourth slice parting with Formula D, a fifth slice parting with Formula B, a sixth slice parting with Formula C, and a seventh and last slice parting with Formula D.

Proceed to the opposite side. Leave out the triangular section of natural hair, then take back-to-back diagonal-horizontal slice parting, applying formulas in the following order: one slice with Formula D; one slice with Formula B; one slice with Formula E; one slice with Formula C; one slice with Formula D; one slide with Formula B' and one last slice with Formula E.

Proceed to the side area. Working vertically, repeat the same color formulas as the previous step.

Process for 20 minutes, the rinse. Apply Joico K-PAK Shampoo, the rinse. Apply Joico K-PAK Cuticle Sealer; leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse. Apply Joico K-PAK Intense Hydrator; leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse. Dry the hair and style with the appropriate Joico styling products.
