Section the hair from recession to recession, creating a ‘cat eye’ on the top of the head.

Split the back down the middle and then create a slight diagonal forward section above the ear.

In the back and side sections, take diagonal back slices. TIP: Jen’s go-to technique for the ‘cat eye’ section is strong diagonal slices against the part. This leaves the hair so soft and blended—the eye can’t pinpoint where the color is coming from.

Apply Formula A at the regrowth; apply Formula B on the ends and process for about 20 minutes, or until pale yellow.

Rinse, do NOT shampoo, and apply Formula C for about 15 minutes.
