Begin with the hair parted down the center to the nape, then part the hair into four sections—two in front of the ear and two behind.

Take a fine horizontal slice and apply Formula A from the line of demarcation (about 1 inch off the scalp) through the ends.

Continue working up the head through the crown, leaving no hair in between. Repeat on the other back section.

Repeat this same process on the front sections until you reach the parietal ridge, continuing to use Formula A.

Once all the hair has been foiled, you should be left with a top Mohawk section from the parietal ridge to the top of the head.

Starting in front at the fringe, take horizontal slices and repeat the same foiling process throughout the Mohawk section.
Pro Tip: Check the foils in back every 5 minutes. If they are Level 11 (palest yellow), pause to rinse so they don't over process and then continue with your foiling.

Continue applying Formula A throughout the Mohawk section until all the hair has been foiled. Process until she reaches a pale yellow Level 11, then rinse with Joico Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner and dry the hair.

Next, part the hair into three sections—two in front with a center part and one in back.

Apply Formula B on very fine 1/8-inch horizontal sections, ensuring the regrowth formula doesn't overlap with her previously lightened hair.

Continue applying Formula B to the regrowth in each section.

Once the regrowth is complete, process until she reaches a pale yellow Level 11 and rinse with Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo. Do not condition the hair. Towel-dry, squeeze to remove excess water (shaking could rough up the cuticle) and then comb the hair with a wide-tooth comb.
Then, apply Formula C from roots to ends and run a wide-tooth comb through the hair to seamlessly blend the toner. Process for 10 to 15 minutes or until the hair is an icy cool tone, then rinse with Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner.
