Apply Formula A to the regrowth area. Process for anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes, or until desired lightness is achieved.

Rinse, then wash the hair with PRAVANA The Perfect Blonde Shampoo. Blow-dry until hair is 100 percent dry.

Take small sections and tease a little at the root to create a softer look. "For this balayage I switched up my patterns and split all my sections in half,” says Nicole.

On one section, hand-paint Formula B and place in foil. Directly next to that first foil, apply Formula C and place in foil.

Work your way up the head taking the same split sections and teasing at the root. Then, apply Formula D to one section and Formula E to the following. “For some of the pieces around the hairline and on the crown I skipped the step of teasing and just free hand-painted which ever color I wanted to appear there,” shares Nicole.

Let process for 25 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Wash and condition with PRAVANA ChromaSilk VIVIDS Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner.

Apply PRAVANA ChromaSilk VIVIDS Color Protect Aftercare along with Wella Professionals EIMI Sugar Lift Spray and blow-dry straight.

For looser curls, take large sections and spray Wella Stay Firm Hairspray. Leave the ends out and curl each section in opposite directions, giving you a textured finish when you run your fingers through.
