So it was Paves, of course, who was on set for his BFF’s recent cover shoot for Marie Claire. “This cover of Jessica is one of my favorites,” explains Paves. “I love that the hair is a little shorter and the blonde color is a little toned down and more neutral. Step 1: “I cut Jess’s hair to this length the morning of the shoot,” explains Paves. “To create the color we added in some of our dark blonde human hair Hairdo Extensions.” - 2Step 2 of 4
Step 2: “Once her hair was cut, I added Ken Paves Healthy Hair Volumizing Spray to her roots and finger tousled it while blowing it dry. I encouraged a lot of natural texture so I created random and loose waves.” - 3Step 3 of 4
Step 3: “I twisted and coiled (without clamping) hair around a 1” curling iron. I did not wrap the hair all the way to the ends around the iron, and this lent to a more natural look.” - 4Step 4 of 4
Step 4: “Once the hair was curled, I applied some Ken Paves Healthy Hair Shine Serum to my hands and then stretched out and loosened the curls.”
