Create a zigzag parting around the head at the crown. Clip the zigzag parting out of the way.
Pro Tip: The zigzag parting helps build in automatic dimension by creating highs and lows throughout the hair. Plus, this zigzag circle will act as a veil over the bottom section for even more dimension.

Apply Formula A as a root touch-up to the hair left out of the zigzag parting.

Apply Formula B to the remaining hair in the bottom section (still leaving the zigzag parting alone). Cover with TIGI® copyright©olour Meche Strips.

Release the top zigzag section and divide into quadrants. Apply Formula A as a root touch-up.

After 5 minutes, pull the root shade through to the ends. Use your fingers to ensure complete saturation. This technique will give the ends more movement and dimension.
Pro Tip: To pull the color through, Renee uses what she calls a stretching comb, also known as a barber comb. Any wide-tooth comb will work—just avoid a pintail comb, which will remove too much color.

Process for 20 minutes, then rinse and lightly shampoo with TIGI® Copyright Custom Care Colour Shampoo. Apply the TIGI® Copyright Custom Care SOS Extreme Recovery Treatment.

Allow the Copyright Custom Care SOS Extreme Recovery Treatment to process for 5 minutes, then shampoo with Copyright Custom Care Colour Shampoo and condition with Copyright Custom Care Colour Conditioner. Blow-dry and style as desired.
