Begin by parting the hair and taking a section behind the head from ear to ear. - 2Step 2 of 14
Start in the centre on the right-hand side, working vertical sections of 0.5 cm with your first color (IGORA Vario Blonde Plus Powder Bleach). Leaving large areas of untreated hair between each section, work this section through, finishing just behind the ear. - 3Step 3 of 14

Repeat this technique on the opposite side so that there are a total of 5 treated sections from ear to ear. - 6Step 6 of 14
Now take 2 more sections from the top of the ears to the crown and work these through in the same way, achieving another 7 treated sections across the back of the head. - 7Step 7 of 14
This is how the foils should appear after completing Step 4. Now, you will work though the sides and top.

Starting on the left, create a triangular section above the ear from the front hairline to the crown as shown. Work this section through, taking vertical slices as before. - 9Step 9 of 14
Now move up to the top of the head to the left of the central parting, working this next section from the front hairline through to the crown. - 10Step 10 of 14
Repeat the same process on the other side, remembering to keep an eye on the bleach result of the first section (if required, you should take these highlights out and rinse - leave the other sections processing until you have achieved the same bleach result). - 11Step 11 of 14
Shampoo, condition and blow-dry. - 12Step 12 of 14
Finally, working on the previously bleached sections, take the recommended color recipies 2-6 and work these randomly through the bleached bands to give an overall finish that is varied, but still balanced. When the desired color is achieved, rinse, shampoo and condition before styling to finish. - 13Step 13 of 14
