Joico Visionaire "Emily" Color Technical

Before: Model’s hair is colored, level 4N dark natural brown, with 1-inch re-growth of level 6N light natural brown.

Pre-Lighten Formula: VeroLight with 10 Vol. (3%) Veroxide
Formula 1: Vero K-PAK Chrome Really Yellow with Vero K-PAK Chrome Activator (Gold Foil)
Formula 2:  Vero K-PAK Chrome Really Orange with Vero K-PAK Chrome Activator (Copper Foil)
Formula 3: Color Intensity ¼ Blue + ¾ Clear Mixer (Purple Foil)
Formula 4: Color Intensity Blue (Blue Foil)
Base Formula:  Vero K-PAK Chrome RB4 with Vero K-PAK Chrome Activator

Working off the crown, take a slice parting of un-foiled hair and clip it away. Take six back-to-back diagonal slice partings and apply Pre-Lighten Formula ¼-inch from the scalp through mid-shaft and ends.

On the side of the head, pick up the long vertical piece of hair and apply Pre-Lighten Formula.

Move to opposite, left side of head. Take a diagonal slice parting off the crown and apply Pre-Lighten Formula.

Continuing directly below, take six additional back-to-back diagonal slice partings and apply Pre-Lighten Formula.

Directly below, take five staggered diagonal slice partings, picking up the longer hair, and apply Pre-Lighten Formula. Move toward the back of the head and take four more back-to-back diagonal slice partings with Pre-Lighten Formula.

Process hair until a level 9 yellow is achieved, then rinse. Apply Color Endure Shampoo, then rinse. Apply K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor for 5 minutes, rinse and dry hair. Ready for Phase 2 (Color Technique).

Working off the crown area, take a slice parting of un-foiled hair and clip it away. Directly below, take a diagonal slice parting and apply Formula 1.

Directly below, continue to take back-to-back diagonal slice partings and apply the following formulas: Formula 1, Formula 2 (twice), Formula 3, and Formula 4 (twice).

Directly underneath, working vertically, take one slice parting with Formula 2 and a second with Formula 4.

Proceed to the opposite, left side. Take a slice parting of un-foiled hair and clip away. Directly below, take two back-to-back diagonal slice partings with Formula 1 and Formula 2. Stagger slice partings, working at the front and also toward the back area. Take three back-to-back diagonal slice partings with Formula 3. Then take five staggered slice partings of Formula 4. End by taking four more single slice partings of Formula 4 just above the ear.

Apply Base Formula to all un-foiled hair, process for 20 minutes, then rinse.
Apply Color Endure Shampoo, rinse. Apply K-PAK Cuticle Sealer for 5 minutes,
rinse. Apply K-PAK Intense Hydrator, leave in 5 minutes, then rinse. Style
hair as desired with the appropriate JOICO styling products.
