Pretreat the hair with Wella Professionals Elements Reconstructive Mask. Massage the mask through damp hair and cover it with a warm towel. Allow the mask to process for five minutes, then rinse and completely dry the hair.

First, section out the hairline.

Next, begin the application at the root area and apply Formula A about 1 1/2 to 2 inches out from the scalp using a wide color spatula. Continue working all around the head

Next, start at the nape and take ½-inch horizontal sections. Create square subsections and apply alternating formulas with a small color spatula. After the hair is completely saturated, twist the sections. This will create a cascade of pastel color. Since Color.id has been used in all of the formulas, there is no need to be concerned about bleeding or bruising of color within the root area or the subsections.

Once the head is completely covered, apply the color to the hairline and sculpt into your final shape. Process for up to 20 minutes or until you reach the desired tone.

Once the color has processed, shampoo with Wella Professionals Elements Shampoo. To help seal the cuticle, apply Wella Professionals Color Post Treatment and process for five minutes before treating the hair with Wella Professionals Elements Conditioner.
