Section hair into five sections.

Starting in the nape area and working upward, apply three rows of GL Apps in a brick lay pattern, alternating between a medium and darker color. This pattern continues up the head and incorporates the lighter GL Apps around the face.

Work up to the recession area, leaving a horseshoe section at the top of the head to cover the attachments. The last section should be finished using darker colors.

Smooth hair using a flat iron. Point-cut to shape the perimeter and blend the client’s hair with the GL Apps. Blend the GL Apps around the face using a slide-cutting technique.
