    Create a Mohawk section from the hairline to the nape. Create triangular sections on each side from the hairline to the front of the ear and from the front of the ear to the occipital.

    Secure each section.

    Beginning in the back, create 1-½” diagonal sections. Backcomb each section with three strokes.

    Place the section on foil and apply Formula A to the non-backcombed ends. Secure the foil. Continue this application in the back section—you’ll have approximately 4 to 5 foils.

    On the side triangular sections, work in slight diagonal sections and apply Formula A without backcombing the base. Begin the application in the center of the strand, then feather it upward with a comb. Place a board on the ends for control and better saturation.

    Separate the sections with strips of cotton. In the top panel, resume the backcombing technique used in the nape and back areas. Process, rinse, shampoo and detangle the hair. Apply Formula B to all strands on damp hair.
