Create a U-shaped section that begins at the corner of each eye and extends to the crown. Secure. This is Section 1.

Create a parting two inches below the previous section, crafting a horseshoe-shaped section around the parietal ridge, and secure. This is Section 2. All remaining hair is Section 3.

Release Section 2. Take a ¼-inch diagonal slice parting, create a macro-weave and place on foil. Apply Formula A from scalp to ends.

Repeat this application throughout the entire section.

Release the top section. Beginning ¼ inch from the hairline, take a ¼-inch slice. Apply Formula A approximately two inches from scalp to midlengths. Continue applying Formula A in this manner in back-to-back slices until the section is complete. Process 35 minutes at room temperature, then rinse, shampoo and dry the hair.

Repeat the sectioning. Release Section 2. To create additional dimension in this section, place a few random foils and apply Formula B to midlengths and ends.

Release the top section. Beginning ½ inch from the hairline, take a ¼-inch slice. Apply Formula B to the midlengths. Continue working in this manner, using back-to-back foils, until the section is complete. Process at room temperature until the desired level is achieved or up to 50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse and towel-dry.

Apply Formula C to the prelightened hair. Process up to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse and condition using Matrix Biolage.
