Section the hair down the center parting to just behind the ear, then section the back crown to the occipital and the occipital to the nape (four sections).

Starting in the back of the head at the center of the section, take an approximately 2-inch wide horizontal slice and apply Formula B, feathering the formula approximately 1 to 2 inches from the scalp area through the midshaft (leaving out the ends).

Take a second 2-inch weave parting close to the ear and apply Formula A; pick up remaining weave directly below and apply Formula B.

Begin creating a brick-lay pattern with your foils, alternating the two formulas.

As you get closer to the crown, begin weaving your sections and apply Formula A (including the ends in the foil).

Continue the brick-lay pattern for two weaves, leaving natural hair between foils and alternating the two formulas.

Starting on the side of the head, take a thin weave and place it in a foil at a diagonal angle; apply Formula A, feathering the formula closer to the face.

Continue to pivot, always following the head shape from diagonal to horizontal at the top of the center parting. Apply Formula B, always leaving some of the ends out.

Continue working up toward the top of the head, alternating the two formulas.

Always use Formula A in the weave sections and Formula B in the horizontal slice sections. Repeat this step on both sides of the head.

Continue to the fringe area.

Take a horizontal section and take two back-to-back weave partings using Formula A to create an accent piece.

Process for 60 minutes. Shampoo with Joico K-PAK Color Therapy.
