- 1Step 1 of 14

Create a section from the crown to the ear and begin working in the back.
- 2Step 2 of 14

Mist the section with CHI® Royal Treatment Bond & Seal to protect against breakage.
- 3Step 3 of 14

Starting at the nape, backcomb a one-inch section and apply Formula A below the teased portion. Pro Tip: Apply lightener to the foil first to ensure the hair stays in place.
- 4Step 4 of 14

Continue foiling upward. When at the crown, weave and backcomb a one-inch section and feather Formula A towards the tease.
- 5Step 5 of 14

Next, use a diagonal forward section above the ear for a natural, blended look. Feather Formula A upwards near the tease and repeat the process on the opposite side.
- 6Step 6 of 14

For the money piece, remove any fragile regrowth hairs and apply Formula A.
- 7Step 7 of 14

For the remaining front quadrant, weave a one-inch section and backcomb to the root before feathering Formula A. Continue foiling until the head is covered.
