One length haircut—establish the desired length.

Create a face-framing layer.

Subsection the fringe area and recut to create a shorter, side-sweeping fringe.

Section the hair from ear to ear. Subdivide the front section into 3 triangles to the crown. Subdivide the back section from crown to nape.

Start with back triangles. Apply color in quarter inch slices, from bottom of the nape. Take slices working through the subsection by alternating Formula A, Formula B and Formula D, leaving natural hair in between. Repeat this pattern on all triangles.

Apply Formula C to remaining natural hair in between the foils. Process for 30 minutes.

Prepare: Rinse out color. Shampoo with Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo.

Pamper: Massage into hair. Wrap head in warm, wet towel and let client sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and then towel dry. - 8Step 8 of 12
Prepare hair with Wella Professionals Enrich Leave In Balm to make combing easier.
Apply Wella Professionals Velvet Amplifier to prime hair and Flowing Form Smoothing Balm to smooth hair. Apply Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray to shield and protect hair during blow drying. Blow out using a round brush.

Subsection the hair from crown to ear. Secure a 4-inch section at the crown with a rubber band. Secure the nape section with a rubber band. Use rubber bands to create a ponytail.

Fold the ponytail and pin it together at the rubber bands. Then secure it behind the ear with bobby pins. Use Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray for hold. Take front side sections, twisting toward the head and then twist around the folded ponytail. Secure with bobby pins.

Leave secured hair slightly messy. Smooth away some of the flyaways using Wella Professinals Smooth Brilliance Shine Pomade. Finish with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray for some hold and Mirror Polish Shine Serum for a high gloss finish.
