Foil + Freehand Balayage

At BTC, we’re all about the art of the collaboration. And this stunning color melt from Vancouver-based stylists Chris Weber (@chrisweberhair) and Ali Eskridge (@alieskridge) is a prime example of the kind of magic that happens when two talented stylists get together!     Highlight in the front with Formula A using foils and a small weave, paying close attention to the hairline and parting. Then, hand-paint the hair between the foils with Formula B using a gentle application with lots of dry brushing to create a soft blend.

    Hand-paint Formula B in the back, starting with heavy saturation to create pops of color, then switch to lighter saturation toward the top of the head to keep the color soft.

    Wrap each section in balayage wrap and process for 30 minutes with no heat, then rinse.

  4. 4Step 4 of 5

    Apply L'Orèal Professionnel SMARTBOND Protocol Step 2 and process for 10 minutes. Then, rinse and towel-dry the hair.
